Nigerian musicians Bracket, Wande Coal, Flavour and Midnight Crew have been nominated for honours in the African Artiste(s) of the Year (non Ghanaian) category in the 11th and 2010 edition of the prestigious Ghana Music Awards alongside Jozi of South Africa.
The Nigerian musicians have chalked mainstream success in Ghana; their songs have been all over the radio and television. These are also the songs of preference in clubs, pubs and most social gatherings in Ghana.
Igwe is a beautiful gospel song from Midnight Crew. It is a well sought after and highly patronized gospel song in our churches today. The duo Bracket also have two which are making waves in Ghana: Yori Yori and No Easy.
Wande Coal and Flavour’s tracks Bumber to Bumper and Ashawo -respectively are also going well. Both songs were well received. Jozi of South Africa is not as popular in Ghana.
