Breaking News: Sulley Ali Muntari Issues A Statement

Ghana and Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has issued a press statement to deny whatever has been reported of him breaking camp and insulting his teammates and well as disrespecting the head coach Milo Rajevac.

He therefore called for Ghanaian’s support, so the team can go ahead and defeat the Germans in their next game, which also determines which of the two top teams will qualify to the round 16.

First of all I want to say that, I respect the coach’s decision totally, and as a member of the Ghana Black Stars, will serve mother Ghana and die a little to raise her flag high.

Whatever is going on in the media circles is untrue and I have the utmost respect for my teammates, coach, administrators and the entire team personnel.

We have a very important game ahead of us against Germany, which requires harmony and unity in order for us to advance to the next stage.

I will plead that you continue with your support, so that we stay focused on the task ahead.

Samini, Richie, Asem, Eazzy & OJ Blaq Signs To RockStar 4000

Lynx Entertainment all stars namely Richie, Asem, Eazzy & OJ Blaq has been signed on to the Rockstar 4000 Music Entertainment. Another Ghanaian also signed on the African continent’s first Pan African 360 Music & Entertainment Company and Record Label is Samini, the Pan African Superstar and Multiple Awards Winning Afro Reggae artist.

Album Launch: Unveiling Of Morris D’Voice

The Silver Bird Lifestyle store inside the Accra Mall will again be the venue for yet another album launch, this time it’s the turn of Morris D’voice as he prepares to launch his album ‘Home & Away’ on Saturday 26th June, 2010.

The ‘Home & Away’ album contains eighteen songs including the first single ‘Valentine’ a track for the celebration of the love season on 14th February. Also on the album are ‘Shame On You’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Crave’, ‘Could This Be Love’.

Morris is described as RnB, Soul, Neo Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Hip Hop, High Life, Gospel singer; therefore the album contains diversity to suit whoever is listening.

Morris is a sound engineer who has a lot of hits songs to his name, he produced Obour’s multi award winning track ‘Konkontiba’, consequently picking the Ghana Music Awards Sound Engineer of the Year in the same year.

If you didn’t know Morris formerly known as Morris Babyface, sang the chorus of the “Aketesia” track by Nana Kontihene which won him the ‘Artiste of the Year’ in 2003 GMA. Morris has also done a couple of songs with gospel musician Esther Smith.

The theme for the launch is unveiling D’voice. After the launch of the album, there will be autograph signing section. Several artistes from One Mic Entertainment and Lynx Entertainment and Tinny will be there to support Morris.

New Movie: Reggie Rockstone Acts In ‘White Is Black’

After playing a role as a DJ in Mensa and Wanlov’s ‘Coz Ov Moni’, the celebrated Godfather of the music genre ‘hip life’, Reggie Rockstone has featured in a new movie, where he played Nathan, a Rastafarian.

Reggie Rockstone was at the receiving end of a wrong number dialed by Amanda (Georgina Ahiable), a middle aged broken hearted attorney who was actually calling her uncle, Tawiah. Amanda, still discovering who really she is, falls in love with Reggie on the telephone. When she eventually meets Reggie Rockstone, she was disappointed because the man she has fallen for is a Rastafarian.

To Amanda she will rather reconcile with her flirting fiancĂ© than date a Rastafarian. This decision ends her deeper wounds. Broken heart and dejected, Amanda can’t help but witness her career diminish.

Amanda took a bold step and left the hassle life in the city to the countryside to find peace with her heart, mind and soul and also find Nathan. In her attempt to find Nathan and peace for herself, Amanda instinctively ushers herself into the realm of the Rastafarian and Pan- Africanists. She subsequently changed her notions and misconceptions of the Rastafarian.

The table turns, a more enlightened Amanda now desperate in love with Nathan now has an onerous task of winning his love. But will the conscious gentleman give in …

According to the director of the movie, ‘White Is Black’ Is a movie dedicated toward erasing the age long delusion mankind has over one of the world sect and religions, the Rastafarian. It at the same seeks to educate the viewing public on some of the myths and history surrounding the black and African.

Aside grand papa, the movie features entirely new faces such as Georgina Ahiable, Benjamin Nana Addo, Jamaican Born Kofi El Shabaz and Ihmakus, Ekow Morrison, Abena Danso and Harriet Nortey. Acting was average.

PRMD Consult, Flipside Studio and Jet black concept, the companies responsible for the movie will premiere it at the Promising Star Hotel in Kumasi on the 17th July 2010 and also at the National Theatre on 7th August, 2010.

This movie is recommended for Rastafarians and people who believe in black emancipation.

New Movie: Trinity, A Must Watch Movie

The combined production houses Cupado Films and Marhills Production which brought the captivating movie ‘Shakira’ to movie enthusiast is hitting the markets with another outstanding and a mind boggling movie called ‘Trinity’.

The storyline finds traces on the African continent, where greed for power is the order of the day. Kofi Adjorlolo played the role of MacCoy Yeboah, a greedy, heartless who finds solace in eliminating anyone who becomes a hard nut for him to crack.

MacCoy Yeboah, also a drug trafficker and a corrupt business man whose callous nature torn his family apart sets out on a mission to become the president of the land but workaholic Barrister Naveda Daniels (Nadia Buari) stands on his way.

With the help of Naveda’s former husband (Ekow Smith Asante), and Barrister Dan (Majid Michel), MacCoy sets up Barrister Naveda Daniels with the murder of another lawyer Val Ayew (Luckey Lawson). Barrister Daniels hence finds herself on the other side of the law.

Don’t be worked out to know the whole sequence was somebody else’s dream. To find out if Nadia Buari really killed Luckey Lawson or if Kofi Adjorlolo bribes his way to the presidency then be at the Silverbird Cinema on 1st July, 2010 at 6:00pm and 8:30pm for the grand premiere. It will also be shown same time on the subsequent nights.

‘Trinity’ was written and directed by a renowned Nigerian director Pascal Amanfo and produced by MacDavies Odikah and Michael Odikah. The movie features Kofi Adjorlolo, Luckie Lawson, Nadia Buari, Ekow Smith Asante, Karlsoum Sinare, Roseline Ngissah, Gavivina Tamakloe and Eddie Nartey. Also featuring was a five year old girl Imogen Hogg, who acted as Nadia Buari’s daughter.
