The Big In Ghana Talent Hunt and Tour came to an exciting end on Saturday the 1st of September at a packed Holy Gardens in Accra.  FOKN Bois, Efya and Yaa Pono, along with the new found talents, all gave away mind-blowing performances that left both audience and artists wanting more.

The tour is sponsored by Bavaria, supported by Alomo Bitters and hosted by PY of The One Show.

The eclectic crowd went absolutely wild when Afro Harmony, a live band of young musicians, warmed up their instruments by playing hits from both the Highlife and Hiphop genre making both young and old sing and dance.  The beautiful display of lights, LED images and crisp powerful sound coming from the Big In Ghana stage attracted many people from all over the neighbourhood.

The concert opened with the talent competition winners. The well composed Ohene Amoako (Tema) set it off  with his song “So Mu Gyi”, followed by powerful duo NT4 (Kumasi), the free spirited Anas (Takoradi) and the crowd favorite Bryt (Accra) who together with his little brother managed to send the crowd into deafening applause.

After the talent competition Yaa Pono took to the stage like the boss he is performing hits like “Oh Joe”, “I Dey Feel You Die” which featured Faint Medal and “Shopping Mall” to which each and every member of the crowd sang and rapped along.

The sultry songstress Efya left the crowd in awe of her magestic grace and powerful voice singing her hit songs “Sexy Wahala”, “Little Things” and “Best In Me” to mention a few. She pleasantly surprised the fans by ending her set by re-inviting Yaa Pono on stage to perform their collaborative song “Good Morning”.

The FOKN Bois (M3NSA and Wanlov the Kubolor) sealed the night with an eclectic collection of their music both individually and as a group. Their performance was as wonderfully engaging as their often controversial lyrics. They got the crowd singing, dancing and laughing as they performed songs like “Sometimes”, “Thank God We’re Not A Nigerians” and “Ko Ti Eduro” where energetic Wanlov shocked the crowd by tugging away at his skirt to reveal bright pink panties. The crowd lost their minds.

In addition to enjoying free live in-depth performances by their favorite musicians, the crowd got the chance to win ‘Big In Ghana’ merchandises as well as souvenirs and drinks from the sponsors. The ‘Big in Ghana Talent Hunt & Tour’ is an initiative of Africa Unsigned and FOKN Bois, sponsored by Bavaria, supported by Alomo Bitters.
It witnessed auditions across Takoradi, Tema, Kumasi and Accra in search of new talent to give them a platform to launch their career in music. Four winners were chosen from the various cities to tour alongside the FOKN Bois, Efya and Yaa Pono.

From September 3rd to September 9th, the public gets to vote via SMS for an ultimate winner who will get over GH¢ 20,000 worth of prizes, including a cash prize of GH¢ 3,000, a recording deal, professional video, management and promotion.
